A petiole is the slender stalk that joins a leaf to its stem — the small connecting piece nobody names. The Petiole Earrings take that shape and set it with stones: marquise zirconia arranged like leaves along a curving vine, with a round stone at the tip.

How to Style It

The Petiole Earrings are made for stacking. Set them above a larger stud — the Meridian Earrings or the Nimbus Earrings work well in the lobe below — so the vine curves up towards the top of the ear. Worn on their own against dark knitwear they're barely there, which is exactly the appeal. On the hand, the Trio Halo Ring repeats the marquise cut.

Are they small enough for a second piercing?
Yes. At under 1 cm and 0.5 g a pair they were designed for exactly that, and the curving shape follows the line of the ear rather than sticking out from it.

Which way up do they go?
The vine curves, so each earring has a direction. Wear them mirrored, with the curve sweeping up and outwards on each ear.

Can I shower and swim in them?
Yes. Stainless steel is fully waterproof and chlorine-resistant, and there's nothing here to catch or loosen.
