Why Do We Process Personal Data?

Your personal data will be processed by Folie à Trois for the following purposes and legal grounds:

Folie à Trois makes use of AI-powered technologies to support marketing, data analysis and content creation.

• Shopify-integrated applications
• Meta AI advertising tools

2. Processing by External Providers

Some AI and digital service providers act as processors on our behalf, including OpenAI, Shopify and Meta Platforms.

These providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, appropriate safeguards are implemented in accordance with the GDPR, such as:

• Additional security measures where required

We ensure that all partners provide an adequate level of data protection.

Provision to Third Parties

The data you provide to us may be disclosed to third parties if this is necessary for the performance of the purposes described above.

Data entered when placing an order or sending a message will be stored on the servers of our processor Shopify. Shopify ensures a level of security appropriate to the data to be processed and takes adequate measures to protect data against loss or unlawful processing. For example, a secure SSL connection is used as a standard.

To process and ship our orders we have a link with MyParcel. This will receive your address information (delivery address) in order to ship/deliver the orders.

Your online payments are processed by our partner Mollie or Paypal.

We never pass on personal data to other parties with whom we do not have a processing agreement. With these parties (processors), we make the necessary arrangements to ensure the security of your personal data.

Personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area when working with international service providers. In such cases, transfers take place in compliance with applicable data protection legislation and appropriate safeguards are implemented.

We may also share personal data with third parties if you give us written permission to do so. You have the right to revoke this consent at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing prior to revocation.

Storage period
